Falcon James is a Tairāwhiti-based author and producer descending from the Te Aitanga-a-Mahaki tribe. Through atmospheric and uncompromising storytelling, his work explores the liminal spaces where ancient, brooding landscapes meet modern-day anxieties.

Operating his independent press, he champions the Pacific Gothic subgenre to introduce rich Māori cultural themes with historical depth to the global literary stage.
